Keen to know a little more about me? Sit tight and I’ll shed some light on my journey to becoming a French to English translator, content writer, and straight-up language nerd.

“I’m a word geek. a language aficionado. one of those annoying people who repeats every foreign word they hear on the tv…”

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in French and Translation from the University of East Anglia. I spent the third year of my degree at the University of Tours, France, where I became an expert in quaffing French wine and eating copious amounts of cheese.

I also mastered the intricacies of the French language and discovered some of the finest gems French pop culture has to offer (see here for one that never ceases to amaze me, la tecktonik…).

After graduating in 2012, I went on to manage the day-to-day running of French e-commerce platforms, write and translate in-house for online alternative fashion retailer Grindstore, before becoming a Translation Project Manager for Integro Languages translation agency in 2015.

During my time managing projects for global brands, I learned all about the translation industry from both an agency and client perspective.

This experience provided the perfect foundation upon which to build a career as a freelance French to English translator, content writer, and project manager.

Fast forward to 2020: I provide professional translation, content writing and project management services to brands in the UK, France and beyond. I’m proud to say I have many client projects under my belt, and am always keen to forge new partnerships with big & small businesses alike.

On that note, please feel free to get in touch – I’m ready to translate your wild and wonderful French to English documents & write punchy, engaging content to make your brand pop!
